As president of NMH, Mr. McAfee oversees approximately 7,000 employees at a Level I trauma center, with 945 staffed inpatient beds, and a campus that encompasses more than three million square feet in downtown Chicago in the Streeterville neighborhood. Prior to his role as President of NMH, Mr. McAfee served as senior vice president of Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, president of the North and Northwest Regions of Northwestern Medicine, and president of Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital (NM-LFH).
